Ed

Ed, the mastermind behind Strap-On, was born and raised in the little-known part of Denmark known as "Chicago-town," where everyone speaks English and is named "Bob." Except for him, of course. He was always considered a freak because his name was Ed. This drove him to listen to violent, subversive music like Throbbing Gristle and Duran Duran. His infatuation with industrial music goes back almost to the womb.

In 1990, Ed discovered that he had not actually been living in Denmark all his life, but was in fact living in Chicago, and had merely been the victim of a cruel joke by his parents which involved getting everyone they knew to call each other "Bob" while he was around. This only increased Ed's feelings of alienation. He needed an outlet for his postmodern angst, so he turned to the only friend he had: industrial music.

After briefly playing with Ministry as "disposable guitarist #43," Ed left the band, but soon after joined up again with Al Jourgensen, "the meanest middle C this side of the Mississippi," to form Strap-On, the world's most industrial band.

Ed plays all instruments and sings all vocals for Strap-On, except for middle C.
