This is an 8 bit Hercules monitor card. It would run any of the MDA and other monitors, and was known for very fine font, the ability to do graphics, and frequently loosing the on-screen visor.
These cards and monitors are still in general use in industry and merchandizing.
At the end connector:
If added to a color video card, the computer will operate both a color and a B/W monitor. "Mode BW" and "Mode CO80" in DOS will allow switching back and forth.
Block A or B of upper memory is used by the card. Graphics emulation and the font set are on-board the controller chips.
The jumpers on the card void the parallel port.
